Welcome to Padegon Lodge

Padegon Lodge is a Masonic lodge under the jurisdiction of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Oregon, serving the Eugene area and dedicated to the timeless principles of Freemasonry.

We are building a lodge that honours tradition while embracing meaningful study and genuine fraternal bonds.

We meet at McKenzie Lodge No. 195 in Eugene, where we gather regularly for stated meetings, degree work, and fraternal fellowship.

Our Mission

Padegon Lodge is dedicated to the fundamental principles of Freemasonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. We seek to create a lodge that emphasises both the timeless traditions of the Craft and meaningful Masonic education.

Our name, Padegon, comes from the Persian word for fortress—a place where civilisation, learning, and brotherhood are protected and nurtured. We aim to be such a fortress: a gathering place for men who seek genuine fraternal bonds and deeper understanding of our ancient tradition.

We are particularly committed to welcoming brothers from diverse backgrounds, including those with heritage from Eastern traditions. Freemasonry has always been universal, and we believe that this diversity enriches our lodge and deepens our collective understanding of the Craft.

Our Approach

Padegon Lodge places strong emphasis on Masonic education. We believe that the degrees are the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning, not the end. Our lodge features regular educational programmes exploring the history, philosophy, and symbolism of Freemasonry.

We encourage our members to engage in serious study of the Craft, to understand the deeper meanings behind our rituals, and to explore how Masonic principles apply to daily life. This educational focus helps ensure that membership in our lodge is transformative, not merely ceremonial.

We also emphasise active brotherhood. Freemasonry is not just about meetings and ritual—it is about forming genuine bonds with men of good character, supporting one another, and working together to make good men better.

Padegon Lodge seeks men of substance—men who are looking for more than social fellowship, who want to engage seriously with the philosophical and esoteric dimensions of Freemasonry, and who are ready to form genuine fraternal bonds.

We welcome men from all backgrounds and traditions who meet the qualifications of Freemasonry: good men who believe in a Supreme Being, who are of lawful age and good reputation, and who come of their own free will seeking Light.

If you are interested in Masonic education, if you value both ancient tradition and thoughtful inquiry, and if you seek a lodge where brotherhood is taken seriously, we invite you to learn more about Padegon Lodge.

Join Us

Padegon Lodge seeks quality candidates who share our vision for what a Masonic lodge can be. We are looking for men who are serious about their Masonic journey, who value education and genuine fraternal bonds.

If you are not already a Freemason but are interested in learning more, we would be honoured to speak with you about the Craft and about Padegon Lodge specifically. If you are already a Master Mason and are interested in affiliating or visiting, we welcome you as a brother.
